Size Guide
Size Guide
The complete fit handbook for Gridiron Kit jerseys — measured to the inch and the centimeter so you order the right size with total confidence.
1 · How To Measure
Wear minimal clothing and stand relaxed. Use a soft (cloth) tape measure, keep it level and snug but not tight. All our size charts use body measurements, not garment measurements — so measure your body, not a shirt you own.
Chest
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, arms relaxed at your sides. Keep it level across the back.
Waist
Measure at your natural waistline, roughly level with your navel. Don't suck in.
Body Length
From the highest point of the shoulder (near the neck) straight down to the hem.
Sleeve
From the shoulder seam out to the cuff — most relevant for jerseys.
Hips
Around the widest part of your hips/seat, feet together. Useful if layering bottoms under pads.
Inseam
From the crotch seam down the inner leg to the ankle. Reference for padded-game layering.
2 · Men's Jerseys
Body measurements in inches (and cm). "Fit" describes how the cut sits relative to your body.
| Size | Chest | Waist | Body Length | Sleeve | Fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 40"102 cm | 34–36"86–91 cm | 29"74 cm | 9"23 cm | Regular |
| M | 44"112 cm | 37–39"94–99 cm | 30"76 cm | 9.5"24 cm | Regular |
| L | 48"122 cm | 40–42"102–107 cm | 31"79 cm | 10"25 cm | Regular |
| XL | 52"132 cm | 43–45"109–114 cm | 32"81 cm | 10.5"27 cm | Relaxed |
| 2XL | 56"142 cm | 46–48"117–122 cm | 33"84 cm | 11"28 cm | Relaxed |
| 3XL | 60"152 cm | 49–52"124–132 cm | 34"86 cm | 11.5"29 cm | Relaxed |
Pro tip: our men's jerseys are cut to layer over shoulder pads, so they run slightly roomy. For an off-field, body-skimming fit, consider sizing down one.
3 · Women's Jerseys
Tailored through the torso with a slightly tapered waist. Measurements in inches (and cm).
| Size | Bust | Waist | Hips | Body Length |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 38"97 cm | 32"81 cm | 40"102 cm | 27"69 cm |
| M | 41"104 cm | 35"89 cm | 43"109 cm | 28"71 cm |
| L | 44"112 cm | 38"97 cm | 46"117 cm | 29"74 cm |
| XL | 47"119 cm | 41"104 cm | 49"124 cm | 30"76 cm |
| 2XL | 50"127 cm | 44"112 cm | 52"132 cm | 31"79 cm |
Women's jerseys run true to the chart. If you're between sizes and prefer a relaxed game-day look, size up; for a fitted look, stay true.
4 · Youth Jerseys
Chest measurement with recommended height and age range. Measurements in inches (and cm).
| Size | Chest | Approx. Height | Approx. Age |
|---|---|---|---|
| YXS | 30"76 cm | 40–44"102–112 cm | 4–5 |
| YS | 32"81 cm | 44–48"112–122 cm | 6–7 |
| YM | 35"89 cm | 48–54"122–137 cm | 8–10 |
| YL | 38"97 cm | 54–60"137–152 cm | 11–13 |

5 · Height & Weight Fit Finder
The fastest way to pick a size if you don't have a tape measure. These are starting points — athletic/wide builds should size up.
Men
| Height | Weight | Size |
|---|---|---|
| 5'4"–5'7" | 130–150 lb | S |
| 5'7"–5'9" | 150–170 lb | M |
| 5'9"–5'11" | 170–190 lb | L |
| 5'11"–6'1" | 190–210 lb | XL |
| 6'1"–6'3" | 210–230 lb | 2XL |
| 6'3"+ | 230–260 lb | 3XL |
| — | 260 lb + | 3XL / 4XL |
Women
| Height | Weight | Size |
|---|---|---|
| 5'0"–5'3" | 100–120 lb | S |
| 5'3"–5'5" | 120–140 lb | M |
| 5'5"–5'7" | 140–160 lb | L |
| 5'7"–5'9" | 160–180 lb | XL |
| 5'9"+ | 180–200 lb | 2XL |
Weight is only a guide — a 185 lb powerlifter and a 185 lb runner need different sizes. Always trust your chest measurement over the scale.
6 · Big & Tall Jerseys
For broader builds and longer torsos. "Tall" adds ~2" to body length and ~1.5" to sleeves; Big adds chest/waist room.
| Size | Chest | Waist | Body Length | Sleeve |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4XL | 64"163 cm | 53–56"135–142 cm | 35"89 cm | 12"30 cm |

8 · Authentic vs. Replica — Which Fit?
Authentic (Game Fit)
Cut to layer over pads, like the pros wear on the field.
- Slightly loose through the body and sleeves
- Longer sleeves for pad coverage
- Stitched, durable numbers & names
- Best for: game day, layering, true fan look
- Size down if you want a snug, off-field fit
Replica / Throwback (Tailored)
Everyday fan wear, closer to the body.
- More tailored through the torso
- Shorter, lighter sleeves
- Applied numbers suited to casual wear
- Best for: casual wear, gifting, youth
- True to the chart — order your normal size
9 · Between Sizes? Decide Here
Use your build and how you'll wear it to break the tie.
Athletic / broad shoulders
Chest is the priority. Size up so the chest isn't tight; the waist will be a touch loose but looks intentional.
Slim build
Stay true to the chart, or size down one for a sharper silhouette (Replica especially).
Wearing pads / layers
Size up at least one from your tee size — Authentic jerseys are already cut for this.
Gift, unknown size
Pick the recipient's usual tee size; our 30-day return covers exchanges if needed.
Long torso
Go Tall (LT/XLT/2XLT) or simply size up — body length grows with the size.
Prefer loose / oversized
Size up one to two for the relaxed streetwear look.
10 · Jersey Fabric & Feel
- Authentic Game Jerseys: 100% polyester breathable mesh — wicks sweat, holds its shape, lightweight for all-season wear on the field or in the stands.
- Replica / Throwback Jerseys: lighter poly-blend performance knit with a softer hand — built for everyday fan wear and all-day comfort.
- Custom Name & Number Jerseys: made on the same Authentic or Replica body you choose; numbers are stitched (Authentic) or applied (Replica) for lasting wear.
11 · Jersey Care
- Turn the jersey inside out before washing.
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle; mild detergent only.
- Hang dry — avoid tumble dryers and direct high heat.
- Do not bleach, iron directly on numbers, or dry-clean.
- Store flat or on a wide hanger to preserve shoulder shape.
Following these steps keeps stitched numbers and prints intact season after season — and protects your 365-day warranty coverage.
12 · Fit FAQ
Do your jerseys run true to size?
Replica jerseys run true to the size chart. Authentic jerseys are cut roomier to fit over pads, so they feel about one size larger than a standard shirt — size down if you want a fitted look.
Will the jersey shrink after washing?
Our polyester mesh and knit fabrics are pre-shrunk and resist shrinkage. Following the cold-wash, hang-dry care instructions, you should see no noticeable shrinkage.
I'm between two sizes — which should I pick?
For a relaxed game-day fit, size up. For a tailored everyday look, size down (Replica) or stay true (Authentic). See section 9 for build-specific guidance.
Can I wear shoulder pads under a Replica jersey?
You can, but it'll be snug. Authentic jerseys are designed for pads; for padded wear we recommend Authentic or sizing up in Replica.
What if the size I ordered doesn't fit?
Unworn jerseys with tags can be returned within 30 days for an exchange or refund. See our Return Policy. Custom name/number jerseys are returnable only if defective.
Do women's jerseys run small?
No — they follow the women's chart in section 3 and run true. If you're between sizes and want a looser fit, size up; for a fitted look, stay true.
How do I get a longer length if I'm tall?
Choose our Tall sizes (LT, XLT, 2XLT) which add about 2" of body length and 1.5" of sleeve, or simply size up.
